SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Southern Shan, Chin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (6°C) above April average temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Sagaing Region and Shan, Chin, Kayah States and (2°C) above April average temperatures in Mandalay Region and Mon State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) each in Bawlakhae and Hpasaung and (43°C) each in Myinmu, Chauk and Gangaw.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 17th April, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Kachin, Kayin, Mon States.
