SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin, Chin States, fairly widespread in Southern Shan, Rakhine States, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago Regions and Northern Shan, Kayah States. Weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Mon State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) below April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Rakhine State,  (3°C) to (4°C) below April average temperatures in Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States and (5°C) to (6°C) below April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States.  The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Hpasaung,  (40°C) in Bawlakhae and (39°C) each in Pyay, Shwekyin, Nyaunglaybin, Gyobingauk, Khayan, Hinthada and Kawkareik. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (1.57) inches in Machanbaw, (0.63) inch in Thazi(Hlaingtat), (0.59) inch in Kyaukse, (0.43) inch in Kyauktaw, (0.39) inch each in Putao and Kyaukpyu, (0.35) inch in Minbya, (0.31) inch each in Lashio and Rathitaung,  (0.28) inch in Manaung, (0.12) inch each in Minbu, Maungdaw and Myauk U and (0.08) inch each in Myitkyina, Paletwa and Naypyitaw Airport(Ela).

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 04th April, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State and isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing,  Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine States.
