SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin State. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, scattered in Rakhine State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above April average temperature in Eastern Shan State and (4°C) below April average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region, (5°C) below April average temperature in Chin State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States.  The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk and (41°C) each in Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Sinbyugyun, Pyay and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.83) inch in Buthitaung, (0.79) inch in Pinlaung, (0.71) inch each in Putao and Tiddim, (0.59) inch each in Paletwa and Tongzan, (0.55) inch each in Machanbaw and Falam, (0.51) inch in Hakha and (0.47) inch in Sittwe.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 03rd April, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing,  Mandalay, Magway Regions and Southern Shan State and isolated in Taninthayi Region and Eastern Shan State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
