SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Chin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Southern Shan States. Weather has been generally fair in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (7°C) above March average temperature in Mon State,  (5°C) to (6°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above March average temperatures in Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States, (2°C) above March average temperatures in Mandalay Region and Rakhine State and (2°C) below March average temperatures in Kachin, Chin States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States.  The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Bawlakhae and (41°C) each in Minbu, Magway, Aunglan and Pyay. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded was (0.24) inch in Loilin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Central Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 02nd April, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Southern) Shan, Chin, Rakhine States.
