SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers hasbeen isolated in Upper Sagaing Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions andKachin,EasternShan, Kayah, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were(2°C) below March average temperatures in Yangon Regionand Chin, Kayah States, (3°C) below March average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) in Chauk and (39°C) each in Tada U (Aviation Met), Minbu, Magway and Pyay. 

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is ‌generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 07th March, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in UpperSagingRegion and Kachin, Eastern Shan States. Degree of certainty is (60%).Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw,Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Chin, Rakhine States and partly cloudyin the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin State.
