BAY INFERENCE:  Weather is generally fair over the Northeast Bay and cloudy over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 20th January, 2023: Weather will be partly cloudy in  Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan,  Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan States.

FORECAST FOR YANGON AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 20th January, 2023:                    Partly cloudy.

FORECAST FOR MANDALAY AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 20th January, 2023:         Generally fair weather.
