BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Depression has crossed into the Sri Lanka near Trincomalee and moved west-southwestwards. It is weakened into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area. It is likely continue to move west-southwestwards and reach to Comorin Area and neighbourhood during next (12)hrs. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 26th December, 2022: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Chin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
