BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression is crossing to Sri Lanka near Trincomalee and it is likely to move West-Southwestwards and reach move West-Southwestwards and reach to Comorin Area and neighbourhood. Weather is cloudy over the Southwest Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th December, 2022: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Chin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
