\SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather have been generally fair in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin, Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below December average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C) below December average temperature in Chin State and (2°C) above December average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Mon States, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions, (5°C) above December average temperature in Naypyitaw and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (6°C) in Tiddim, (7°C) each in Namsam and Heho and (8°C) each in Loilin and Mongyang.

BAY INFERENCE:  Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th December, 2022: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Chin and Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at time Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (4-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States.
