SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions. Weather have been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (4°C) below December average temperature in Hakha State and (2°C) above December average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago Regions and Rakhine, Kayin States, (3°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mon State and (5°C) above December average temperature in Ayeyarwady Region and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) in Hakha, (6°C) each in Kyaukmae, Heho, Mongyang, Tiddim and Pyinoolwin and (7°C) each in Namsam, Loilin and Mogoke. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.83) inch in Hainggyigyun and (0.08) inch in Coco Island.

BAY INFERENCE:  Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th December, 2022: Likelihood of rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Kayah, Kayin States.
