BAY INFERENCE:  According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, theCyclonic Storm “MANDOUS” over Southwest Bay of Bengal (offNorth Tamilnadu-Puducherrycoasts (India)) has moved Northwestwards. It is centered at about (760) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island, (840) Nautical miles West-Southwest ofHainggyigyun(Myanmar), (140) Nautical miles North-Northeast of Jaffna (Sri Lanka) and (75) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai (India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, Westcentral Bay and Southwest Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 10th December, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Northern and Eastern) Shan State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph.Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
