SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in (Southern and Eastern)Shan State, isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) below November average temperatures in Kachin, Northern Shan States, (2°C) below November average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Yangon Regions and (2°C) above November average temperature in Naypyitaw and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperature were (9°C) in Hakha and (12°C) each in Kyaukmae, Tiddim and Mogoke. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.26) inches in Kyaukse(Lunkyaw), (0.78) inch in Naypyitaw Airport (Ela), (0.75) inch in Tatkon and (0.24) inch in Myanaung.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs MST today, the Severe Tropical Storm “Nalgae” over South China Sea moving  Northwestwards slowly and forecast to reach Gaungdong Coast, China around (3.11.2022). 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 2nd November, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States
