SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin and Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (4.37) inches in Pauk, (4.14) inches in Ngazun, (4.09) inches in Myauk U, (3.82) inches in Paung, (3.54) inches in Taungkok, (3.23) inches in Myitnge, (3.10) inches each in Htilin and Kawthaung, (3.00) inches in Paing Kyone, (2.88) inches each in Tiddim and Thaton, (2.83) inches in Gwa and (2.76) inches in Thandwe.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Northeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rd October, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be
 fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States and widespread in
 the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, 
Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35)mph. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in off and along Myanamr Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of thundery activities in Deltaic areas.
