BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (off North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha Coasts, India) still persists. It is likely intensify into a well marked low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal (off South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh Coasts, India) during next (24) hours. Monsoon moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 10th September, 2022: Rain or thundershowers  fairly widespread in Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and  isolated heavyfalls in Lower sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) mph. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Rakhine States.
