BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Westcentral Bay and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal now lies over Westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely intensify into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Westcentral Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal(off North Andra Pradesh and South Odisha Coasts, India)during next (48)hrs. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 09th September, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Sagaing Region and Kachin, (Northerm and Easterm)Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Southerm Shan,Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine State. STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) mph. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
