BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs MST today, the  Depression over the Coastal Odisha(India) still persists. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong to vigorous elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th August, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Kachin, Southern and Eastern Shan, KayahStates and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwaddy, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squall with rough seas will be in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40) mph. Squall with rough seas are likely at times in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and (8-10) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of increase of rain in Rakhine State.
