SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Ayeyarwady Region and Eastern Shan, Kayah States. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan State, scattered in Mandalay Region and Chin, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (2.16) inches in Kya-In Seikkyi, (1.12) inches in Singaing, (0.98) inch in Katha, (0.87) inch in Heho,(0.71) inch in Hlaingbwe, (0.67) inch each in Shewbo and Meiktila, (0.59) inch in Yangon(Northern Dagon) and (0.51) inch in Kyaukpyu.
BAY INFERENCE Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th July, 2022:Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper SagaingRegionand Kachin, Southern Shan States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Eastern Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
