SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions. Rainor thundershowers have been isolated in Magway Region, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayin States, fairly widespread in Yangon Region and Kachin, Southern Shan, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Chin and Rakhine States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (3.62) inches in Gwa, (3.19) inches in Tiddim, (2.88) inches in Thandwe, (2.12) inches in Putao, (1.85) inches in Hkamti, (1.57) inches in Ye, (1.32) inches in Ra The Daung, (1.26) inches each in Kha Mon Seik and Kya-In- Seikkyiand (1.06) inches in Mawlaik.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th June, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, MagwayRegions and Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Bago Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Rakhine States. STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
