BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 25th May, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in (North and East)Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Yangon Regions and isolated heavyfalls Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi  Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squall with rough seas will be experienced in off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40) mph. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts. Therefore, domestic flight, trawlers, vessels and ships in off and along Myanmar Coasts should be aware to take precautionary measures.
