BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloudover the North Bay and Westcentral Bay and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE19thMay, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will bescattered in Naypyitaw and Magway Region,fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago Regions and (North and South)Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-TaninthayiCoasts and (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
