SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Kachin and Southern Shan States, fairly widespread in Northern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah States and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Mon State with isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) to (6°C) below April average temperature in Naypyitaw and Southern Shan State, (3°C) to (4°C) below April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago Regions and (Northern and Easrtern) Shan, Kayin States, (2°C) below April average temperatures in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Mon States and  (3°C) above April average temperature in Chin State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Chauk and (40°C) each in Vaar and Minbu and (39°C) each in Magway, Aunglan, Gangaw and Kyauktaw. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (1.69) inches in Naypyitaw(Dekkhinathiri), (1.50) inches in Pyinoolwin, (1.14) inches in Pathein, (0.98) inch in Yamethin, (0.78) inch in Naypyitaw Airport(Ela) and (0.63) inch in Minbu.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th April, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and isolated in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:  Likelihood of slight increase of day temperaturesin Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions.
