SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah, Kayin States. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region,fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and Southern ShanState, scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Magway Regions and Northern Shan States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (5.71) inches in Kawthaung, (3.54) inches in Kyaukse(Lunkyaw), (1.97) inches in Tagaung, (1.50) inches each in Myittha and Myeik, (1.30) inches in Matupi, (1.18) inches in Myingyan and (1.02) inches in Myinmu.

BAY INFERENCE:Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7th October, 2021:Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regionsand (Northern and Southern)Shan, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5– 8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region.
