BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm “GULAB”  which crossed the North Andhrapradesh - South Odisha Coasts between Kalingapatnam and Gopalpur, India has weaken into a deep depression. It is forecast to move West-Northwestwards and further weaken into a depression during next (6) hours. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 27th September, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan, Chin States, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (5 -9)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of thundery activities in the Central Myanmar areas.
