BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 24^thAugust, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Kayin, Mon State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States, scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan State and isolated in the remaining Ragions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Kachin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 -7)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
