BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 22ndJuly, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Bago Regions and Kachin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
