SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been sacttered in YangonRegion and Chin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago,Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (4.21) inches each in Mawlamyine and Kyeikkhame, (4.02) inches in Hpa-an(Agro), (3.66) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit, (3.62) inches in Ye, (3.54) inches in Machanbaw, (3.43) inches in Kyauktaw, (3.31) inches in Thandwe, (3.26) inches in Myitkyina, (3.19) inches in Naypyitaw(Otarathiri), (2.92) inches in Nga Zun(Agro), (2.86) inches in Taungtha(Agro), (2.83) inches in Mogaung, (2.76) inches in Hlaingbwe and (2.72) inches in Kawkareik.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weakelsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 08th July, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Chin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Shan, Rakhine,Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State. STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of regionally heavy rainfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
