 BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Odisha and West Bengal Coasts(India) still persists. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURE: According to the observations at (05:30)MST today, the tropical storm 'Koguma' over the Tokin Bay has moved West-Northwestwards and forecast to cross Upper  Vietnam Coasts by today morning.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 13th June, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine,Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
