BAY INFERENCE:According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Odisha and West Bengal Coasts(India) still persists.Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th June, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
