SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Eastern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Kayin and Mon States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.23) inches in Mudon, (3.07) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit, (2.91) inches in Thipaw, (2.88) inches in Mawlamyine, (2.72) inches in Thaton, (2.68) inches in Kyaukpyu, (2.20) inches in Kyeikmayaw, (2.17) inches in Paung, (2.05)inches in Gwa and (1.97)inches each in Manaung, Tharrawady and Chaungsone.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea, South Bay, Eastcentral Bay and Northeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 07th June, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan (North and South), Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
