SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Mon States, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan(South and East), Rakhine States and isolated in Mandalay Region and Kayin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.05) inches in Kyauktaw, (1.38) inches in Chaungsone, (1.22) inches in Putao, (0.94) inch in Myitsone, (0.63) inch each in Moemate, Mingin, Kawkareik and Kyeikkhame and (0.54) inch in Thipaw.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea, South Bay, Eastcentral Bay and Northeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 04th June, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Shan, Mon States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

 STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak to moderate monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
