SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Magway Region and Northern Shan State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions, scatteredin Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Yangon Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw. Day temperatures were (5°C) above May average temperatures in Sagaing Region and Kachin State, (4°C) above May average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan, Chin States and (2°C) above May average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin States andabout May average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C) in Nyaung Ooand (42°C) each in Kalewa, Mingin, Monywa, Myinmu, Myingyan, Tada U(Avia), Chauk, Gangaw and Pauk. The noteworthy amountof rainfall recorded were (2.43) inches in Coco Island, (1.61) inches in Loikaw, (1.57) inches in Naypyitaw(Zeyarthiri), (1.53) inches in Hinthada, (1.45) inches in Thandwe, (1.22) inches each in Taunggyi and Pinlaung, (1.18)inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit(Hlaingbwe) and (0.98) inch in Myaungmya.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 31st May, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State, fairly widespread in Yangon Region and Kachin, Chin,Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
