BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 30th May, 2021:  Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and  Kayah States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Kachin, Chin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Yangon and Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 -9)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of advancement of Southwest Monsoon into the Central Myanmar areas.
