BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloudelsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 29th May, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Eastern Shan, Kayin,Mon States, fairly widespread in Bago Region and Kachin State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, AyeyarwadyRegions and (Northern and Southern) Shan, Chin, Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 -9)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate to strong monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
