BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and weather is partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 28th May, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Northern Shan States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7 -12)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of thundery activities in the Central Myanmar areas.
