BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18th May, 2021: Weather will be partly cloudy in   Lower Sagaing, Magway, Shan(South and East) and  Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States and isolated  in the remaining Regions and States.Degree of certainty is (80%). .

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of thundery activities in the Southern Myanmar areas.
