SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in TaninthayiRegion. Rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin State, fairly widespread in Rakhine, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and Mandalay Region. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above May average temperatures in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State, (2°C) above May average temperatures in Magway, Bago Regions, (5°C) to (6°C) below May average temperatures in Kachin, NorthernShan States and (3°C) to (4°C) below May average temperatures in Sagaing Region and Chin State and about May average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Minbu, (41°C) each in Chauk and Magway and (40°C) each in Nyaung Oo, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi, Sinbyugyun and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.35) inches in Pyinmana(Walgyi), (2.28) inches in Lunkyaw(Kyaukse), (2.13) inches in Naungcho, (1.97) inches in Kyaukse, (1.85) inches in Pyinoolwin,(1.81) inches in Naypyitaw(Otarathiri), (1.61) inches in Laiway, (1.50) inches in Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), (1.42) inches in Thipaw and (1.40) inches each in Myittha(Agro) and Natogyi(Agro).

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th May, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagiang Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Mon States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago Regions and Rakhine, Kayah, KayinStates, and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihoodof slight increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions.
