SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing andAyeyarwady Regions. Rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Kayah State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above May average temperatures in Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Mon States and (2°C) below May average temperatures in Northern Shan, Kayah States and about May average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C)each in Chauk and Aunglan, (41°C) each in Minbu and Magway, (40°C) each in Taungdwingyi, Ann, Pyay, Nyaunglaybin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.26) inches in Hlaingbwe, (0.79) inch in Muse, (0.75) inch in Mogaung, (0.67) inch each in Naypyitaw Airport (Ela), Pinlaung, Maungdaw and (0.59) inch in Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri).

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th May, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagiang Region and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Chin, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago,Yangon and Ayeyarwady regions.
