SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, scattered in Chin, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in Magway, Yangon Regions with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and isolated heavyfalls in Southern Shan State and partly cloudy in Rakhine States. Day temperatureswere (3°C) above May average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions, (2°C) above May average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Magway,Yangon Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and (3°C) to (4°C) below May average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Eastern Shan State, (2°C)below May average temperature in Kayah State and about May average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C) in Minbu and (42°C) each in Chauk, Magway, Taungdwingyi and and Taunggu. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (5.71) inches in Naypyitaw(Ela), (4.53) inches in Laiway, (3.78) inches in Pyinmana, (3.46) inches in Naypyitaw(Zabuthiri), (3.39) inches in Naypyitaw(Datkhinathiri), (3.23) inches in Pinlaung, (3.03) inches in Naypyitaw (Otarathiri), (2.76) inches in Naypyitaw(Pobbathiri), (2.52) inches in Myitsone, (2.37) inches in Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri) and (2.28) inches in Heho.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 08th May, 2021:. Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway, Yangon, Regions and Chin, Rakhine States, scattered Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
