SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Magway, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Kachin and (Southern and Eastern) Shan States and widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan, Chin States with regionally heavyfall in Mandalay Region and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above May average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States and (2°C) below May average temperatures in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and about May average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C) in Chauk and (41°C) in Ann. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (4.76) inches in Lunkyaw, (4.68) inches in Pyinoolwin, (4.52) inches in Tatkon,(3.07) inches in Dawei, (2.95) inches in Chaungsone, (2.63) inches in Central Yangon, (1.88) inches in Kyeikdon, (1.40) inches in Myittha(Agro), (1.38) inches in Myingyan, (1.18) inches in Matupi and (1.06) inches in Tiddim.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 02nd May, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region and Rakhine State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Chin, Kayah States and fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
