SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours,weather has been partly cloudy inRakhine State. Rain or thundershowershave been isolated in Upper Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kachin, Chin States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Northern and Eastern) Shan State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and Stateswith isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing and Bago Regions. Day temperatures were (6°C) above April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, (3°C) above April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Nothern Shan,Chin States,(2°C) above April average temperature in Mandalay Region and (3°C) below April average temperature in Kayin State, (2°C) below April average temperatures in Eastern Shan, Mon States and aboutApril average temperatures inthe remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were(44°C) in Chauk, (43°C)inGangaw, (42°C) each in Mawlaik, Kalewa, Tamu, Mingin, Monywa, Myinmu, Myingyan, Naung Oo and Tada U (Aviation).The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were(3.59)inches inPhyu, (2.36) inches in Hpasaung, (2.04) inches in Kanbalu, (1.65) inches in Loikaw, (1.54) inches in Gyobingauk, (1.50) inches in Moemate, (1.46) inches in Thabeikkyin, (1.33) inches in Dawei, (1.18) inches in Bago and (1.06) inches in Hpa-an.
