SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Mon State, fairly widespread in Southern Shan State, scattered in Taninthayi Region and Nothern Shan, Kayin States and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady Regions and  Eastern Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (6°C) above April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan, Chin States, (2°C) above April average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State and (2°C) below April average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C) each in Nyaung Oo and Gangaw. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.46) inches in Kawthaung, (1.42) inches in Payathonsu, (1.18) inches each in Loilin and Belin, (1.14) inches in Chaungsone and (0.51) inch in Mawlamyine.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and a few cloud over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th April, 2021: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan, Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Shan(North and East), Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States.Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Rakhine States and fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and  Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
