SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread Taninthayi Region and isolated in Southern Shan, Mon States. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (6°C) above April average temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Sagaing Region and Shan(North and East) and Chin States and (2°C) above April average temperature in Mandalay Region and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) each in Monywa, Chauk and Gangaw and (43°C) each in Myinmu, Myingyan and Naung Oo. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.47) inch in Launglon and (0.20) inch in Pinlaung.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy over the ‌Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th April, 2021: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
