SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan State, scatteredin Kachin, Chin States and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago Regions and Eastern Shan, Mon States. Weather has beenpartly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, (2°C) above April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Chin, Kayin, Mon States and (2°C) below April average temperature in Kayah Stateand about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) in Chauk, (43°C) in Gangaw and (42°C) each inSagaing, Mandalay, Myingyan, Nyaung Oo, Tada U(Avia), Magway and Sinbyugyun. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.83) inchin Tamu, (0.71) inch in Madauk, (0.50) inch each in Thipaw and Naung Cho, (0.35) inch in Loilin, (0.32) inch in Phyu and (0.27) inch each in Kyaukmae and Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE:  Weather is ‌a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southwest Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th April, 2021: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Shan State and isloated in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Chin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 -6)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of isloated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon State.
