SUMMARY OF OBSERV5ATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Shan(South and East), Kayah and Kayin States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Yangon Region, scattered in Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State and weather has been partly cloudyto cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above April average temperature in KachinStateand (4°C) below April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region, Kayin and Mon States, (5°C)to (6°C) below April average temperatures in Mandalay and Magway Regions, (7°C) below April average temperature in Yangon Regions, (9°C) to (10°C) below April average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region and Northern Shan State, (12°C) below April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Southern Shan State, (15°C) to (16°C) below April averagetemperatures in Eastern Shan and Kayah States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk and (39°C) in Zaung Tu. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.98) inch each in Namsam and Dekkhina Thiri, (0.79) inch in Pinlaung, (0.67)inch each in Loikaw and Myawaddy, (0.63) inch in Pyinmana(Walgyi), (0.59) inchin Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), (0.43)inch in Loilin and (0.39)inch each in Kengtung, Laiway, Naypyitaw(Otarathiri), Yangon(Kaba-Aye), Kawkareik.

BAY INFERENCE:  Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 8thApril, 2021: Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions, Northern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States. Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in the Remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters.Wave height will be about (5 -8)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of increase of days temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States.
