BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over the North Andaman Sea remain practically intensify and has slowly moved to North-Northeastwards. It is centered at about (105) Nautical miles West of Myeik (Myanmar), (125) Nautical miles Southwest of Dawei (Myanmar), about (220) Nautical miles Southeast of Coco Island (Myanmar), about (260) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Yangon (Myanmar). Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and  elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 3rdApril, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States  and  isolated in the Remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama off and along Mon –Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (10 -12)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama off and along Mon –Taninthayi Coasts and about (5-8)feet in off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States and scattered in  Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States.
