BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (15:00) hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over the North Andaman Sea has moved North-Northeastwards. It is centered at about (200) Nautical miles Southwest of Dawei (Myanmar), about (250) Nautical miles Southeast of Coco Island (Myanmar), about (330) Nautical miles South of Yangon (Myanmar).Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rdApril, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States, scattered in BagoRegionand Kayah State and isolated in the Remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA:Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama off and along Mon –Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (10 -12)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama off and along Mon –Taninthayi Coasts and about (5-8)feet in off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States and scattered in  Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States.
