SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw and Eastern Shan, Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) above March average temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above March average temperatures in Sagaing Region and Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and (2°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Mon States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C) in Chauk and (41°C) each in Shwebo, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan and Hpasaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the South Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 29th March, 2021: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Northern Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the Remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
