SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah, Kayin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above March average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin States and (2°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah, Mon States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C) in Chauk, (42°C) each in Tada U(Avia), Magway, Aunglan and Hpasaung and (41°C) each in Sagaing, Mandalay, Nyaung Oo and Taunggu.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd March, 2021: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
