SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regionsand States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C)above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Shan(North and South) and (2°C) above March averagetemperatures in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Eastern Shan, Chin, Kayah States and about March average temperatures in the remainingRegions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C)in Chauk, (42°C) each in Sagaing, Tada U (Avia) and Magway and (41°C) each in Mandalay, Nyaung Oo, Aunglan, Pyay and Hpasaung.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and East central Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21st March, 2021: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in TaninthayiRegion and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Shan, Chin,Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of rain or thundershowers in Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
