SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Shan, Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regionsand States. Day temperatures were (5°C) above March average temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) above March averagetemperatures in Naypyitaw, Southern Shan State and (2°C) above March average temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Kayah States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) each in Tada U(Avia), Chauk, Bawlakhae and Hpasaungand (40°C) each in Sagaing, Mandalay, Meiktila, Nyaung Oo, Yamethin, Hlaingtat, Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), Pyinmana, Magway, Aunglan, Sinbyugyun, Taunggu and Gyobingauk.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th March, 2021: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in TaninthayiRegion and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan, Chin,Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in the whole country.
